Four families living in Washington D.C. have been selected to be ‘climate pilots’. The households have taken up the challenge to test and find new ways towards the goal of cutting carbon dioxide emissions. Is it possible to live climate-smart in Washington already in 2009? What are the greatest difficulties and which are easiest to change? Climate Pilots in Washington D.C. is a project running six months starting on July 1st.
The project is a cooperation between the Swedish Embassy in Washington D.C. and the City of Kalmar in Sweden and is as well part of an exhibition at House of Sweden in Washington D.C. during six months.
